From first message to a suit at your client’s door.
You do not need a factory, stock or a pattern maker to start a made-to-measure suit label. You need clients, a way to measure them, and a workshop that makes one suit at a time under your name. This page shows what each side does.
What you need before you start
Three things. A name for your label. A way to reach people who will buy, such as an online shop, a social following or a list of clients you used to fit. And the budget for one sample suit.
You do not need to hold stock. There is no minimum beyond one piece, so you never buy a rack of suits in sizes nobody ordered.
01 The first conversation
Message us on WhatsApp or send the founder form. Tell us who your clients are, what you want to sell first and roughly what you want to charge them. We come back with prices for the cloth and construction that fit that plan.
The question we hear first from founders is what it costs to start. The short answer: the price of one sample suit, plus shipping and import duty. The pricing page breaks it down.
02 Your sample suit
Your first order can be one suit, made to your own measurements. You choose the cloth, the construction (fused, half canvas or full canvas) and the details. We sew your label in. The label also states the country of origin.
The sample is how you check our work before you put your name on it in front of a paying client. Look at the fit, the finish and how the label sits. Then decide.

03 Taking orders from your clients
Your clients buy from you, at your price. You then place each order on our online ordering platform, which runs in five languages. Every order carries the client’s measurements, the cloth and the construction.
The form has 47 measurement fields, 31 of them required. If you are new to measuring, a client’s height and weight are enough to start: the platform suggests sizes and you adjust from there. See measuring for more.
04 Making and shipping
Each suit takes 14 days in production, counted from the day the order is confirmed. Shipping time and cost come on top.
We can ship to you, or straight to your client’s home, hotel or office, anywhere in the world, under your brand name. Prices are ex works Shanghai, and import duties are paid by the buyer at the buyer’s own rate. Delivery has the detail.
