What a suit costs you, before your margin.
A two-piece made-to-measure suit with your label in it costs from 100 USD as CMT, from 155 USD as full package and from 185 USD as half canvas full package. All prices are ex works Shanghai. Shipping and import duties come on top.

The three ways to buy
CMT, from 100 USD
CMT means cut, make and trim. You send the cloth, and we cut it to your client’s measurements and make the suit. It suits a founder who already has cloth, or who wants one cloth that nobody else offers.
Full package, from 155 USD
We supply the cloth and make the suit. For a new label this is the simple place to start: one price per suit, no cloth to buy in advance, no cloth to ship to us.
Half canvas, full package, from 185 USD
Our cloth, with a half canvas front. If your clients care how the chest of a jacket sits and moves, this is the construction to show them. We also make fused and full canvas suits. Full canvas is quoted per order.
What ex works Shanghai means
The price is the suit at our workshop door. Shipping to you or to your client is added on top, and the cost depends on where it goes. Import duties are paid by the buyer, at the rate of the buyer’s own country. We do not include them in our price.
What moves the price
- Cloth. Each cloth has its own price, whether it comes from our house book, from a mill such as Zegna or Vitale Barberis Canonico, or from a merchant we order from against a confirmed job.
- Construction. Fused, half canvas or full canvas.
- Where it ships. Shipping and duties change by destination.
Ask us for a quote on the exact cloth and construction you want to sell. We would rather give you a real number than a range that does not hold.
What it costs to start a label
The smallest real start is one sample suit. Here is the list of costs to plan for. We give you our part. The rest depends on your country and your plan.
- Your sample suit, at the prices above.
- Shipping the sample from Shanghai to you.
- Import duty on the sample, at your country’s rate.
- Your label. Ask us what we need from you to sew it in.
- Photos of the finished suit for your shop or social pages.
- A place to take orders, such as your own online shop.
- A tape measure, and time to learn to measure well.
After that, you pay for each suit when a client orders one. You never pay for suits nobody bought.
